We had to get both Mum and Dad into a Nursing Home at the same time and simply didn't know where to start.  Dealing with the Home Care world had been hard enough, learning the Aged Care Home requirements was going to be even harder.  But Jo has made this entire process and transition for Mum and Dad and us so much simpler.  It turned what is a hard, emotional and daunting time into a simpler process and focused on the care needs for Mum and Dad as the first priority, managing the paperwork and costs then followed in a straightforward and clear way.  What Jo was able to find for us and then arrange in a short time was simply fantastic and has given Mum and Dad the comfort, safety and time together they deserve.

Jo is professional, honest and very easy to work with, all questions are met with straight forward answers and next steps for you.  Navigating the move to Aged Care is too important to leave it to chance, we cannot recommend Jo highly enough and the service and care she will bring to this process for you and your family will be priceless.

I knew trying to get my mum into the best nursing home for her was going to be a challenging, stressful task. And to be able to get her close enough for me to visit often was going to be almost impossible. For the first few weeks, it was. I had no idea how complex and challenging the process of getting someone you love so much into a safe, happy environment was.

Then, someone recommended Joanna Whelan. I had no idea what Jo did or how she could help at the time. But that soon changed. With her wonderfully natural, friendly nature and feeling she genuinely wants to help, we eventually got Mum into the nursing home of our choice, close to her family.

Jo is very professional, meeting us at the nursing home and advising us every step of the way. Jo Ensured the contracts were okay to sign and advised with financial advice. I appreciate everything Jo has done for my mum and her family.

Thank you, Jo!

Jo, was amazing and so supportive with her knowledge and ongoing support for my husband.  It was really stressful time for me and my boys. Jo was able to get us advice in Financial planning and show us our cost over 5 years. I know I can always call on Jo for her ongoing support with my husband.

Jo, helped us through the whole process of Aged Care with our Mother from getting us financial advice in which ways were best to pay the RAD, Jo made us appointments at facilities. When we chose the facility that we liked Jo was able to assist us in upgrading  room, helped us with reviewing the contract and being with us as the Power of Attorneys to sign the contract. I have called her many times for ongoing support with Mum being in Aged Care.  Jo was able to take the confusion of Aged Care and made the process so easy..

Jo helped me place my Mum in care and the way she treated me made me feel like she was part of MY family and was placing her own mother.

Her kindness and understanding that not only is this a traumatic time for me, but her explanations of DAP & RAD etc was so helpful in the decisions I had to make.  When Jo could tell I was a little overwhelmed she simply reminded me to "take a breath" and would call me back later to just see if I was okay.

Thank You Jo, I will always be thankful.

My Dad needed residential High care - where to start?

I'm in the financial industry but didn't know about the whole process, Jo made appointments for me to view a few facilities she was so professional and guided me in which options where best for Dad. The supported and knowledge from Jo was exceptional.  She negotiate the RAD for us and Dad's room has a lovely view and his own ensuite. Since placing Dad I have referred Jo to many associates & friends that also speak so highly of Jo...
